Had a little scare last week when I got admitted in the hospital for blood pressure shooting through the roof. I've not been categorize as having high blood pressure disease until now. My diet and lack of exercise in the last year or two has contributed greatly to me being in my current state. It definitely woke me back up. I am no longer that 28 year old power lifter that can eat anything and be a beast in the gym. I am a 45 year old aching bones, slow moving, low stamina man. Only three or four years ago I had lost over sixty pounds and was the best shape in my life and now, I felt like I'm on a downward slope. While I'm not happy that I got this way. It was something that inevitably would have happen with the direction I'm going with my life. Thank the good Lord I finally come to my sense and now I went back to the gym to do what I love to do the most.
I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and spend the next 40 minutes working on my chest and shoulder. Today, I rested to help trained the boxers for the upcoming competition. Tomorrow, I will test my new Nike app when I go to the track to ran with my wife. Pray for us that we remain true to our health and that we pass it along to our children.
Thank you and peace out
